Yoshimura Yukinobu: Born in Oita City, Yoshimura formed the New Century Group in 1951 with Shin Isozaki, who later became a world-renowned architect, and attended the Musashino Art School. From 1955, he continued to exhibit his works in uncensored independent exhibitions, and in 1965, he formed the Neo-Dadaist Organizers with Shinohara and others, and quickly gained attention for his “anti-art” works and performances in the 1960's. He then moved to the United States and worked in New York City, where he became a member of the New Century Group. He then moved to the United States and held solo and group exhibitions in New York before returning to Japan in 1961. Upon his return to Japan, he became actively involved in kinetic art and light art, exhibiting “Anti-matter: Light on Möbius” at the Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition, and demonstrating his skills in creating various pavilions at the 1970 Osaka World Expo. Since then, he has released popular pop art works such as “Pig・Pig・Lib;” and has been engaged in a variety of creative activities using three-dimensional and two-dimensional forms of expression.

「NAU 21世紀美術連立展」以「新達達組織者」（Neo-Dada Organisers）為基礎，「新達達組織者」於1960年代由荒川修作（Shusaku Arakawa）、篠原有司男（Yushio Noren）、赤瀬川原平（Genpei Akasegawa）、風倉匠（Takumi Kazakura）等人組成，後來由反藝術領袖吉村益信（Masunobu Yoshimura）與戲法藝術的頂尖專家岩永忠樹（Tadaki Iwanaga）重組為前身「藝術家聯盟」（AU Artist Union）。2000 年，NAU 發起「NAU 21 世紀藝術展 - 初展」，作為不分流派的藝術家聯盟，一直延續至今。
